Recently, the Spectrum of the Seas, one of the largest luxury cruise ships, brought over 4,300 passengers from dozens of different countries to Ba Ria – Vung Tau, on a journey to explore Asia. Prior to this, the ship had stopped in Nha Trang twice in August 2023.

This ship is one of the “members” of Royal Caribbean International, the company that owns the world’s largest fleet of large cruise ships with 26 vessels.

It is known that the Spectrum of the Seas was built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, and was delivered in April 2019. In terms of gross tonnage, this is the 5th largest ship in the fleet.

According to the manufacturer, although the ship’s design will attract tourists of all nationalities, it is specifically made to serve the Asian market. Currently, its main activities are in the East Asia region.
