Man Utd had a good start in the match against Man City in round 27 of the Premier League on the evening of March 3. Just in the 8th minute, they scored the opening goal thanks to Marcus Rashford. However, in the following minutes, the Red Devils almost only suffered and lost 1-3 to their city rivals.

After the defeat against Man City, Man Utd faces a big risk of not qualifying for the Champions League. They are currently in 6th place with 44 points, 11 points behind the 4th-placed team Aston Villa.
